Data on drivers found still driving in excess of speed limit at Graiguenaspiddeog on the N80 is “as concerning as alarming”.
That’s according to Carlow’s Garda SuperIntendent Anthony Farrell.
It comes in the wake of concerns regarding the number of fines issued for speeding, second only in the country to Glenmore in County Kilkenny – something the Justice Minister’s asked his Department officials to check out further.
A public meeting will take place tonight (Monday, 13th July) at the Woodford Dolmen Hotel in Carlow to discuss this.
