Deadline day for submissions on changes to Tullow traffic plans

Today is the final day for you to have your say on plans to alter the traffic plan in Tullow.

The plans have been on public display for the past number of weeks and public meetings have also been held with council representatives and Transport Infrastructure Ireland.

They include proposals to stop traffic from being able to turn right for Carlow after the bridge and it’ll instead be redirected through Abbey Street and Hawkins Lane.

Pedestrian walkways will also be built on either side of the bridge.
