‘Distressing’ scenes described as more than 50 animals are seized from Myshall puppy farm

Gardai have described as ‘very distressing’ what was found after securing a warrant to search a puppy farm in Myshall yesterday.

More than 300 dogs and puppies were found – some dead, others seriously neglected at the premises along with several horses.

The ISPCA seized 52 of the dogs and 2 horses and took them into care.

Sergeant Catherine O’ Gorman says it was brought to the attention of Gardai by a concerned member of the public and she says their investigation in continuing adding that there would be follow-up visits.
