It Carlow are expected to play Limerick IT next week in the Fitzgibbon Cup quarter-finals after they were reinstated into the competition in the early hours of this morning.
The decision to uphold their appeal came at 2am after they were disqualified earlier this after after concerns were raised over the elligibility of a play.

IT Carlow have always maintained the requirements were being met even though the student was nominally on a part-time course.
Manager DJ Carey told KCLR Sport that the most likely date for the postponed fixture is next Tuesday – and they’ll continue their preparations now accordingly.
