A driver has been arrested after being caught speeding and testing positive for multiple drugs near Kilkenny this morning.
The Kilkenny Roads Policing Unit stopped the vehicle travelling at 152 kilometres per hour during a routine speed checkpoint on the M9.

The motorist tested positive for cannabis, benzodiazepines, and cocaine.

He was arrested at the scene, and legal proceedings are now underway.
