€78,000 granted to Kilkenny to help with local flooding spot

A county Kilkenny flooding spot’s been allocated funds to help alleviate the issue.

Just over €78,000 has been announced by Minister Kieran O’Donnell for the bridge at Ardaloo in the Threecastles / Freshford area.

It’s understood a retaining wall’s part of the plan there and Cllr David Fitzgerald believes work won’t be long getting underway there;
