Emergency services called to two separate incidents of vehicles on fire on M9 in Kilkenny

Emergency services were called to two separate incidents of vehicles on fire on the M9 last evening.

The first was between Junction10 Knocktopher and J11 Mullinavat with the southbound lanes affected at about 6pm.

Then later in the evening, another was reported at J7 Paulstown, southbound with the R448 slip route to M9 lanes affected for a time.

KCLR News understands no major injuries were reported in either.
