An event to raise money for Kilkenny Sub Aqua Club is being held this afternoon

An event to raise money for Kilkenny Sub Aqua Club is taking place at Mount Loftus this afternoon.

The fundraiser gets underway at 2 o clock, and allows visitors to step inside the open gardens and woodland walks at the Graignamanagh venue.

All funds raised this afternoon will benefit the club which was founded 42 years ago, and will help with repairs, equipment and insurance.

Breda Dore from Kilkenny Sub Aqua says all the help goes a long way, and they know the work they do is appreciated.
