Family business to close next week after 40 years serving Kilkenny

A Kilkenny business is set to close its doors next Saturday after trading in the city for 40 years.

Kearns Family Butchers opened its doors on Ballybought Street in 1985.

In a post on their social media they say ‘the decision was not an easy one but they take comfort from knowing they had the privilege of serving an incredible community.

The family business will close its doors for the last time, next Saturday, 15th February.
