First regional repeal group of the South East is launching in Kilkenny today

The South East’s first regional repeal group is being officially launched in Kilkenny this afternoon.

‘Sister’s of the South East’ are holding their first get-together in the Brewery Corner from 1-3pm.

Ailbhe Smith from the Coalition to Repeal the 8th will be speaking at the event later, alongside a spokesperson from ‘strike4repeal’

Adrienne Wallace is from People before Profit in Carlow, she’s been campaigning across the South East for the past year.

She told KCLR news that they’re trying to raise awareness about the importance of women being allowed make their own decisions.
