Canadian songwriter Rose Cousins has been writing and recording for many years and knows her way around a song. She has a sweet, clear voice and this informs her writing and, indeed, her choice of songs. For her latest EP, she has chosen songs from other writers and her cover versions are striking.
We chatted about songwriting and how other songwriters can influence each other and we hear her sing three fine songs from the EP, live in Studio 2. We hope she’ll be back when her new album is ready.
