Foster families from across Carlow and Kilkenny have a special event later this morning.
They’re set to unveil their messages of hope while launching a Christmas Tree created to shine a light on the spirit of the season and the transformative power of fostering.
Organised by Tusla Fostering, it’s been decorated with handwritten messages from children who are in foster care and the foster carers who support them.
Each messages represents not just a wish, but a reminder of the profound difference a stable and caring home can make in a young person’s life.
205 homes have opened up to 315 children in our two counties as well as south Tipperary.
If fostering is something you’d like more information on please see For further information about fostering, see here.
