A local doctor says that Free GP Care for the under 6’s will never work.
Last week the Health Minister published the legislation providing for the measure but doctors are unhappy with the plans claiming they were never properly consulted about it.

It was a hot topic at the annual conference of the Irish Medical organisation at the weekend
Dr Ronan Fawsitt who is Chairman of the Irish College of General Practicioners in Kilkenny described the plans as ‘medically unsound, socially divisive and very unjust’.
