You’ve got just days left to have your say on whether or not Carlow’s lime kiln should be made a protected structure.
Public consultation on the matter was launched back in November amid fears from some that it would be demolished by Greencore, who own the site of the former sugar factory.
At the time there were a number of councillors who called it an “eyesore” while others said it should be preserved.
Mayor Fintan Phelan says the obvious choice was to put it to the public and he says you have until Friday to make your feelings on it known.
