Fundraiser launched to help Kilkenny teenager get much-needed surgery

A fundraiser’s been launched to help a local teenager get much-needed surgery.

17-year-old Maria Hogan suffers from multiple serious abdominal vascular compressions that severely reduce blood flow to major organs, causing constant pain, dangerous dizziness, severe nausea and vomiting and risks to her heart, kidneys and digestive system.

To help with that a GoFundMe has kick-started and already has raised almost half the amount required. (Details or to donate see here).

Clara GAA, camogie & LGFC is among the groups getting behind the campaign as Maria’s played both Camogie and LGFC with them for many years.
