Gardai appealing for information following burglary on the Kilkenny road in Carlow

A number of secure storage boxes were cut open

Gardaí are on the hunt for a substantial quantity of high value tools and equipment taken from Carlow.

It happened at about 10:30pm last Saturday night at a building site on the Kilkenny Road where a number of secure storage boxes were cut open.

Sgt Conor Egan is appealing for anyone with information to come forward. He also outlined to KCLR news what was taken: ”A lot of high valuable property was stolen from the units. They used something like a consort or to that effect to open the units. They stole high valuable items such as angle grinders, drills, a couple of laser levels, Walt multi tools and drivers and other items.”
