Gardai are advising people to be vigilant following a spate of car thefts in North Kilkenny
High value tools were taken in two of the incidents

A spate of thefts from vehicles in the Urlingford area is under investigation.
Three happened between midnight Monday and 7am on Tuesday morning.
High value tools were taken in two of the incidents – from a white Vauxhall Vivaro van parked in Assumption Place and also a 09 blue Ford Focus on St Mary’s Avenue. While valuables and a handbag went missing from a VW Passat on Togher Way – a bank card from this was later used to make a purchase.
Garda Andy Neill says it’s likely all three are connected; Very likely all connected. Breaking into vehicles by nature occur together and areas get hit or fleeced over a period. It’s often parked cars or easy pickings when cars are unlocked.”
