Gardaí are intensifying their search for 67-year-old Katherine (Kathy) Norris, who has now been missing for over two weeks.
Kathy was last seen on Tuesday, February 4th, between 10:30 and 11am in the Stephens Street area. Despite their best efforts, Gardaí have so far been unable to uncover any leads as to her whereabouts.
Initially, it was believed Kathy was wearing a red coat when she went missing, but Gardaí now believe she may have been wearing a brown, teddy bear-style coat.
With no significant developments in the case, Gardaí are becoming increasingly concerned for Kathy’s safety. Sergeant John Duffy, speaking on behalf of the investigation, issued a desperate appeal to the public. “We are doing everything we can to locate Kathy, but at this stage, we are at a standstill. We urgently need anyone with information or who may have seen Kathy to come forward,” said Sgt. Duffy.
Gardaí are urging the public to review any dashcam footage, CCTV, or any potential sightings from February 4th, in hopes of gaining a breakthrough.
Kathy is described as 5’2″ with short, grey hair. Anyone with information is asked to contact their local Garda station immediately.
