Gardai investigating series of car robberies around Nolan Park

You’re once again being warned about the dangers of leaving valuable items in your car as three cars were broken into in Kilkenny on Saturday.

The cars were parked in Templemartin, Kilkenny – on the slip road onto the M9 and Gardaí say it happened during the Dublin-Laois match in Nowlan Park on Saturday evening.

The windows of the vehicles were smashed and expensive electronic items like laptops, tablets, phones and nintendo ds’ were taken from them.

Garda Joe Reville told KCLR they’re looking for any witnesses to come forward and he says people need to be more careful about what they leave in their cars.
