Gerard Craughwell to launch a local Councillors by-election campaign

Ireland’s only Independent Senator is to launch a local Councillors by-election campaign later this month.

Senator Gerard Craughwell will launch Breda Gardner’s bid to secure the Carlow/Kilkenny seat in Dail Eireann in the upcoming by-election.

Senator Craughwell says Breda Gardner shares the zeal and enthusiasm for reform and reinvention of the Irish political system and believes she is the sort of person needed in the Dáil.

Breda Gardners campaign will be launched at Langtons on March 18th.
