The green light’s been given for a new 123-bed hotel in Kilkenny city.
Green Wolf Ltd have been granted planning permission to build the facility at the corner of Wolfe Tone Street and John’s Green.

The hotel, based on the site of a former hospital, will also include a public bar and restaurant.
A single storey detached Gate Lodge will be demolished to make way for the project.
