72 acres of the historic Kilmurray estate near Thomastown is up for auction today.
Its being offered with a guide price of 800 thousand euro.
The estate was originally granted by Cromwell in 1640 to a Colonel Bush but was subsequently owned by the Butler family for many years.
Auctioneer Pat Gannon says it includes a fully renovated two bedroom gate lodge, which can be sold separately.
