Phil Hogan says he wont be apologising to anybody for a tongue-in-cheek remark made yesterday as he introduced the details on water charges.
Speaking in the Dail yesterday Minister Hogan said they were giving “everyone clarity on this issue of water charging saying “Paddy now knows the charge.”
He’s been criticised for the remark but speaking to Sue Nunn earlier he rejected claims that it was disrespectful and suggested people should ‘lighten up’.
