“I just can’t do everything”.
So says County Kilkenny Cllr Patrick O’Neill who’s decided to not contest the next local elections.
The FG man has been in the role for the last ten years and sits in the Callan Thomastown municipal district.
From Bennettsbridge, he was the first non city representative to become Mayor in 2016.
In the last three years Patrick has become a father to two children and his day-job’s gotten busier – he told KCLR earlier that he just can’t keep up with the current demands of politics too.
He also spoke of the difficulties facing public representatives.
