“Stop passing around Government promises and excuses”.

That’s the message from Independent TD Matt Shanahan to his Oireachtas colleagues in Carlow, Kilkenny & the rest of the South East as we await the delivery of expanded cardiac care services.

A second cath lab was constructed at University Hospital Waterford and the provision runs from 8am to 8pm weekdays.

But the region’s long fought for a seven-day service in the hopes of it leading to a round-the-clock, 24/7 offering as Deputy Shanahan’s been telling KCLR News – hear that here;
