“It’s been a real honour” says Carlow Kilkenny Sinn Féin TD Kathleen Funchion in last Dáil speech

Carlow Kilkenny’s outgoing Sinn Féin TD has been hailing her time as a constituency representative.

Kathleen Funchion won a seat at European Parliament which she’s due to take up and last evening she delivered her final Dáil speech.

In it she outlined her highlights from her career to date as well as noting issues she hopes are further progressed.

Deputy Funchion also reiterated her stance with regard to Ursula von der Leyen.
