Kathleen Funchion says the British Irish Parliamentary Assembly ‘went well’

Kathleen Funchion says the last two days of the British Irish Parliamentary Assembly went well.

The Sinn Fein TD for Carlow/Kilkenny was the first woman ever to co-chair the assembly.

As expected, BREXIT took centre-stage across the two days.

Health policies, tourism and the border between the North and South were also discussed.

Speaking to KCLR, Deputy Funchion says some representatives from the UK were adamant they should have remained in the EU.
