Kells win Junior handball All Ireland on good weekend for Kilkenny

hballKells Handball Club are All Ireland Junior 60×30 Interclub winners

All Ireland Junior 60×30 Interclub semi finals and finals were held on Saturday in Kingscourt. Kells met Breacach, Co. Tyrone in the semi final where they won 105-53. In the final they met Fenagh Co Letirim who had received a bye to the final. Kells got off to a great start in the final, after the first singles game were up 34 aces going into the doubles game, unfortunately the Leitrim pair proved too strong but the Kells pair kept battling away gaining valuable scores. Going into the last singles game Kells were up by 16 aces in which Kells won convincingly. Congratulations goes to the Kells team of Brendan Burke, Anthony Martin, Dan Breen, Diarmuid Burke and Ger McGrath adding a Junior All Ireland Inter club title to the Junior B title they won last year.
