Forget black and amber, this evening Kilkenny will be turning indigo!
Indigo week in aid of Cois Nore Cancer Support in Kilkenny is drawing to a close this evening with the public buildings in the city, including the Castle and the Tholstel, being lit up.

Organisers involved with the charity say the week was not just to raise awareness for themselves but also to give something back to the people.
This afternoon there’ll be free workshops for children at the town hall between 2 and 4pm with characters from Cartoon Saloon’s ‘Song of the Sea’ as well as facepainting and nail art.
Speaking to KCLR this morning, Jill Tynan says they’re hoping to make it an annual event.
