Kilkenny & Carlow ready to welcome Cycle Against Suicide on penultimate leg today

Kilkenny and Carlow are getting ready to welcome hundreds of cyclists today.

The Loreto Secondary School in the city is one of the anchor schools for this year’s Cycle Against Suicide which got underway on just under two weeks ago.

There’ll be a presentation on mental health in the schools sports hall at 12.45 before the main group of cyclists arrive at a quarter to 2.

They’ll then be heading off for Carlow after 3 and will call at St Marys Academy CBS who have been getting ready all week for their arrival.

The group of over 600 cyclists and their support teams will spend tonight in Carlow before departing on the final leg of their journey bound for Dublin tomorrow morning.
