Kilkenny and Carlow winners at Cross Country in Ballyroan

Local athletes enjoyed success at the Leinster Cross country in Ballyroan on Sunday

Meggan Morrissey won gold in the Junior women”s race while Thomastown and Kilkenny came home first in the club and county rankings.

There was also a win in the Junior men’s with Kilkenny taking the county title while KCH took the club gold.

Laurence O Toole claimed the Girls U14 title in the relay.
