Kilkenny Gardaí had to use a taser device to apprehend two men on Friday evening following a high speed chase.
The chase began in Kilkenny city and involved local Gardaí and the armed support unit.
The two men – non nationals – were arrested in Fethard in Co. Tipperary following a lengthy pursuit.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
They were found in possession of certain items which are linked to criminality.
The men appeared before the district court, and a file has been prepared for the DPP.
