Kilkenny IFA calls discovery of Blue Tongue on Derry farm ‘very disappointing’

Kilkenny IFA has called ‘very disappointing’ the discovery of Blue Tongue in northern Ireland.

Cases have been confirmed in two cows on a farm in county Down where a 20km temporary control zone’s been set up.

It’s spread by infected biting midges and can devastate herds, but doesn’t pose a risk to humans.
