Kilkenny IFA has called ‘very disappointing’ the discovery of Blue Tongue in northern Ireland.
Cases have been confirmed in two cows on a farm in county Down where a 20km temporary control zone’s been set up.
It’s spread by infected biting midges and can devastate herds, but doesn’t pose a risk to humans.
