A Kilkenny Labour councillor says he doesn’t agree with his party leader’s stance on the Taoiseach remaining at home for St Patrick’s Day.
Brendan Howlin told KCLR last week that he thinks Enda Kenny should refuse to go to the US on March 17th in protest at President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.
However, Castlecomer Councillor Maurice Shortall says that he has to disagree with his party leader on this matter.
He says the Taoiseach needs to make that trip to the US, now more than ever.
