Proceeds from this year’s Kilkenny Lions Club Christmas Auction on KCLR will go to local charities today.
St Vincent de Paul, Amber Women’s Refuge, the Good Shepherd Centre, Kilkenny Social Services and the Church of Ireland are among those to benefit from the 2025 campaign.
€22,000 was raised in the radio auctions on KCLR with the Kilkenny People newspaper last week and those monies will be handed-over of food cards and vouchers takes place this evening at St Canice’s Cathedral in Kilkenny.
The funds aim to support families and individuals through meals, essentials and winter relief.
Other events will roll out this week – the surplus of which will be gifted to a number of groups and services across next year.
