Kilkenny meeting tonight on European Capital of Culture bid

You’re being encouraged to have your say in the South East’s bid for European Capital of Culture 2020.

Kilkenny, Wexford and Waterford have combined forces and those involved are hoping their joint bid will help them nab the title over counties like Galway, Dublin and Limerick.

A public meeting takes place in the Ormonde Hotel this evening between 6 o’clock and half 7.

Project Lead, Katherine Collins, says they’re only in the early stages so all ideas are welcome.
