Kilkenny manager Henry Shefflin and his selectors have named their panel for Wednesday night’s Fulfil Leinster Under-20 Hurling Championship Final against Galway in Laois Hire O’Moore Park.
There are no major surprises in the starting fifteen from the side that impressed in the semi-final win over Dublin, with Rory Garrett captaining the Cats from centre-back after returning from injury in recent weeks.
Jake O’Doherty starts in goal behind a full-back line of Michael Ahern, Garrett and Darragh Vereker, while Jim Conlon, Jack Dollard and Mikey Rohan complete the defence.
David Barcoe and Ben Nevin continue their midfield partnership, with Anthony Clifford, Ed Lauhoff and Greg Kelly named across the half-forward line.
The inside forward line sees Jake Mullen, Ed McDermott and Patrick Lacey all retained as Kilkenny look to claim provincial honours against a Galway side that edged past Wexford after extra-time in their semi-final.
There is plenty of firepower on the bench too, including Fionn Mahony, Sean Bergin, Kevin Buggy and Sean McGrath.
Throw-in on Wednesday evening is at 7.35pm and you can hear full live coverage on KCLR, with thanks to PM Security, proudly protecting homes and businesses with trusted security solutions for 30 years.
