Kilkenny native among those bidding to raise funds for Little Blue Heroes Foundation

A local garda’s hoping to make dreams come through for seriously ill children.

Stephen Murphy, who’s originally from Muckalee, and his colleagues have teamed with Sheppards Auction House in Durrow to raise funds for their non-profit Little Blue Heroes Foundation.

They’re auctioning off a signed action shot of record-breaking Rachael Blackmore winning this year’s Grand National on Minella Times.

Auctioneer Philip Sheppard, who’s offering his services for free too, says it’s a great piece and it’s not the only item of interest.

It takes place on June 11.
