The Kilkenny Rose for 2016 was selected in the Ormonde Hotel last night.
Sarah Kearns will represent the marble city at this years competition.
It’s the first year that roses from every county in Ireland will be at the dome in Tralee, although they won’t all make it on stage.
The festival takes place from the 17th – 23rd of August.
