Kilkenny woman realises a dream come through at World Transplant Games

A local woman who had aspirations of standing on a platform with the tricolour has had her dream come true.

Mag Kirwan from Thomastown is part of the 29 strong team that has travelled to the World Transplant Games in Dresden this week.

Mag who is a stem cell transplant recepient has won gold in the 5km road race.

Her sister in a social media post said Nothing Will Ever Stop Her.
