More life-rings destroyed in Kilkenny overnight

The situation with life-rings along the Nore in Kilkenny is just not good enough according to a local Councillor as more were destroyed overnight.

Over the last number of weeks, there have been reports of life-buoys being burned off the wall and stands along the river in Kilkenny City on numerous occasions.

Councillor Joe Malone says he was out on his morning walk this morning he noticed it had happened again.

He told KCLR Live this morning that a life IS going to be lost if something isn’t done to stop these people.
