Kilkenny’s Medieval Mile Museum will be opening its doors to the public in the next number of weeks.
The museum at St Mary’s Church in the city had originally been due to open last November but because of the excavations and other works there, that was pushed to early this year.
Back in August, four 13th-century skeletons were uncovered in the grounds of the church and it’s hoped that they will eventually be put on display there.
February 17th had been suggested as the opening day but those involved say it may be a little later than that.
However, project manager, Evelyn Graham told KCLR News it will definitely be open before the end of that month.
