Little House on the Prairie actress latest to visit Kilkenny

Yet another famous face has visited our locality and may have family connections here too.

Last weekend we told how Bono & Roddy Doyle had stopped off in Kilkenny city.

Now, it seems the actress who played Nellie Olsen in Little House on the Prairie was in the county.

The pub’s owner has confirmed the visit telling KCLR News she was “a lovely woman”.
