Local childcare workers to be briefed on new union for the sector

Childcare workers locally will be briefed on plans to establish a union for the sector next week.

The Association of Childhood Professionals has joined forces with IMPACT and they are holding an information meeting in Kilkennys Ormonde hotel on Monday next to let people know what it will mean for them.

The idea is to help childcare workers have a bigger part in the discussions about the future of their profession.
