Local community centres get €219,250 funding from new Community Centre Investment Fund

Grants of up to €25,000 are being given out to ten local groups.

Community centres across Carlow and Kilkenny are getting more than €200,000 in new funding.

Grants of up to €25,000 are being given out to ten local groups.

Five groups in Carlow are sharing €107,000. Those are Killoughternane Community Hall (€25,000), Methodist Church Kilkenny Carlow (€11,000), Myshall Community Centre (€24,718.94), Newtown Hall Committee (€21,565) and Teach Bhride Holistic Education Centre CLG (€25,000)

The five in Kilkenny will benefit to the tune of €112,000 from the new Community Centre Investment Fund. The centres in Kilkenny are Hillsfield Community Centre CLG (€12,225.20), Paulstown Development Association (€25,000), Railyard GFC (€25,000), Twilight Community Group (€25,000) and Windgap Community Development Company Limited by Guarantee (€25,000)
