A local company’s continuing with its expansion plans even though the Covid-19 pandemic is causing uncertainty for many businesses.
Campion Insurance was set up in 1984 by Urlingford couple Jim and Margaret Campion.
It’s now offering services in both Galway and Mayo after merging with brokerage Future which becomes part of the Kilkenny-born business.
The brand now has a presence in 12 locations across nine counties, employing 180.
It’s been a tough time for the insurance industry and Jim Campion says that those involved are always looking for ways to improve.
But he adds there’s always one golden rule that remains:
“Every customer is unique whether its a car insurance, a house insurance or a major business that personal service is important to customers, that we tailor the right policy. It’s not always about the right price, it’s about making sure the client has the right cover for what the risk is for them. I think that as our job is something we pride ourselves in being able to find solutions to problems for our clients.”
