Jennifer Murnane O Connor has given an emotional farewell speech at today’s meeting of Carlow County Council council thanking them and everyone for all their help in the council over the years
She’s now a senator and is at her first parliamentary party meeting tomorrow.
She says she’s honoured and delighted to be elected to the Senate.
The county manager also thanked and congratulated Jennifer for all her service over 19 years as a Carlow Councillor.
