Locals are fundraising for a 24-hour defibrillator in Carlow town

A group in Carlow have organised an event for next weekend to raise funds for a 24-hour defibrillator in the town.
The fundraiser will be held at the Hanover Harps soccer pitch on Sunday, July 3rd.
Carlow girl Kayleigh Shannon has cut her hair to raise as much money as possible for the cause.
This will be the first 24 hour defibrillator for housing estates in the town.
Ann Shannon is one of the locals campaigning and fundraising, she told KCLR it’s very important that Carlow people have access to a 24-hour defibrillator.
