Locals urged to send your Pylon submissions to European Health committee

If you made a submission to Eirgrid about their proposals to run pylons through the region you might also want to send it again to a committee in Europe.

The group set up by the European Commission is inviting people living in the path of these proposed pylons to send them in their health concerns specifically.

Labour MEP Phil Prendergast says its another way for people to voice the worries they have about the GridLink project.

And she is organising a conference in Kilkenny this month to discuss the health effects.
