A man remains in custody this morning in connection with the death of Rita Apine in Freshford on Sunday last.
The 29-year-old mother was found at the bottom of her stairs at her home on Bridge Street and was taken to St Luke’s Hospital where she passed away.
Rita, who was a native of Latvia, leaves behind a two-year-old daughter.
